"I Skribble" Art Auction in Chicago, IL

Do you know any children from the ages of 8-12 years, that love to draw, paint, or sketch. Art Out Loud community youth program is hosting a silent art auction in the Chicago, Chatham area. The art work will be bidded on silently by business owners in the area. A percentage of the money raised will go the the aspiring artist and the other will go back to the organization for the funding of the next auction.

So if your child or some one you know has a child who would be interested, please send me an email. I will send out a registration form. The event will be in April 2009, the time of Spring Break for the Chicago Public Schools system. My email is [e-mail].

My 9 year old is a fabulous artist, okay, sure I'm her mom so I am objective. Anyway, is this program only for kids in ths Chicago area? If not, I will have my daughter draw something and send it to you.
