Does anyone know how to get rid of post pregnancy baby fat on the stomach. My son is now three months old and although I have lost weight since the pregnancy my stomach is stubborn and taking forever to go down; I look three months pregnant. Many women I know there stomachs go down quickly. I exercise and watch what I eat, but its going down very slowly. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Old school sit-ups. I would start out with a set munmber each day and increase that number by 10 every week. They hurt, but it sure is worth it. Walking helps too.

Gosh...my youngest is 2 and I'm still trying to get rid of what I gained from my oldest who is almost 5. I do find that stomach crunches do help. When both of my kids were babies, I used them as weights. I'd lay on the bed holding them up and do crunches, kissing them when (if) I made it up.

Breast feeding can help, along with some serious crunches. Friendly suggestion...relax...you just had a baby. The weight will come down eventually if you keep doing what your already doing, and be FABULOUS inspite of the belly!

Now really who am I kidding! But it did sound good right? LOL Girl, I'll meet you at the gym!

getting rid of belly fat is MOSTLY about nutition. you should see results by cutting out the processed foods (i.e. packaged foods), simple carbs, white foods and dairy. there are plenty of wonderful subs on the market and all of these changes are great for the long run as well.

best,

fast one day a week. no food, only water. it will shrink in no time. of course keep to the healthy eating on the other days. this will not only shrink your stomach but flush the toxins in your system and allow you to think clearer and sleep better.

In many cultures, women wrap their stomachs after giving birth. My family insisted I wear a panty girdle after pregnancy. (it worked, but silly me, I didn't do it after the second one!) Wrapping the stomach supports the uterus returning to its natural size, encourages correct posture, elimination of retained water and supports the muscles of the back and abdomen which have been worked tremendously before and during pregnancy. More and more westerners are learning about this tradition, which is very very old and practiced world wide. Recently there was an american woman who invented a wrap to market commercially, but it has been done traditionally with strips of cloth a la Sethe in the film Beloved. There is a scene in which the grandmother wraps Sethe's midsection in a sheet. More info on the history of this practice can be found here: http://bellybandit.com/About-Belly-Wrapping.html#historyofbb hope it helps.

Love this suggestion! My mama wrapped my belly following the birth of my two children.

Breast feeding after birth makes your uterus contract and is the best method. It worked for me... after giving birth the first time I breast fed it was painful, and I actually felt my uterus shrinking back down.

I just found out about a great product that is made by a black owned company out of Tampa FL. Mostly all natural health and beauty/hair products. The one in particular that maybe helpful to you is called Brother Job's Slim Body Workout Creme. This product was developed for runners and other professional athletes who needed to lose weight fast. It is also recommended by many doctors. One lady I know said she lost 3 inches in around her waist in about 2-weeks by just working out enough to break a sweat. Another woman said she couldn't believe how it just melted away the fat around her stomach. She lost enough to wear pants two sizes smaller in about a month. This product is sold at the Buy Black Today store at www.tagteammarketing.com/TeamDollar

I don't know if you have stretch marks but there is also an amazing skin toner/conditioner called Ebony Secret, that my stretch marks which are quite old (I have six kids, four grown and two teens). I used this for about 3-weeks and my stretch marks got noticably lighter and faded alot.

Hope this helps.

Are you breastfeeding? That is a miracle worker. Also, give yourself time. Everyone is different. Your baby is 3 months not 3 years. Be patient with yourself.

Love and Light!
