Upgrading the Black Moms Club - What do you think?

Hi moms and dads,

In the coming months I want to upgrade and expand the black moms club adding new features, content, freebies, etc. If you had the choice to decide what gets added here, what would it be. Using sites like cafemom and babyzone.com as inspiration, or just tell me your ideas. What would you like to see on the Black Moms Club?

I think a search feature that includes finding other members in your area, interest, age and so forth would be useful. I think it would help individuals develop networks in their communities.

Hey Kym,

Welcome to BMC! I think the moms here are really good at networking, and getting answers to questions out to each other. Of course BMC is not going to have the traffic of a MySpace or Facebook, because it caters to a very specific segment of the population- black moms, and not only black moms, but black moms who are "into" being moms, caring for their children and sharing information, not just socializing.

I think we all feel the site is very successful, because it does bring us together as moms, regionally and by interest. Just begin exploring the topics and discussions and you will see what I mean.
