I am thinking about joining a treatment program called the SON-RISE Program. I plan on continuing to participate with the local programs in my area however the son-rise program sounds like it would be a great program. It's not cheap, but they train the parents and work with the child.Has any other parent of an autistic child tried one of these programs?
I work with individuals with disabilities and a parent of one of my kids is doing that know. She seem to think it going great. I wish you luck like I wish her luck.
Though it has been a while since we spoke. Did you go into the SON-RISE Program. One of my family's that I work with is in this program and she love it. Maybe you should try it.

I offer free online training about autism on my AutismClassroom.com website. There are also free downloards of materials and visual supports such as a colors chart, numbers chart, count down boards, handwashing chart, etc. A lot of the materials are for the classroom, but many are for the home too. I hope they can be useful to many families. The trainings are extensive and primarily made to give quality information to parents and school teams who otherwise cannot make conferences and expensive trainings.
