Let's make this year a great year for our family and ourselves by putting our health on the top of our list and I am not talking about joining the gym only to quit shortly after. I recognize the main purpose of the site is to network and gain support in an environment of like minded people on their path to success, I have to tell you that I am looking at my profession as an assignment. My purpose for being here -- on earth.

I work in health care and I have a special passion to serve others with a special focus on the under served communities through health care. African Americans and minorities have the highest mortality rates in almost every area of diseases and illnesses. Where other races may have the same diagnosis, we suffer more and die from the very thing that other races are able to live with or survive.

We all have our wants - a new house, car, more money, better job, be your own boss, etc. However, your health is often overlooked. The truth is you need your health in tact to be able to enjoy the things you desire.
