Are You sick of Black Men Being Falsely Accussed

I know I shouldn't be surprised but I must admit I'm so sick of white women for making false allegation against black men for crimes they've committed against their own kids. It just goes to show you that our black men continue to fight this stereotype of all being violent criminals. I must tell you as a mom of sons it really pisses me off with the ease in which this occurs. Thankfully, in the case below about the Pennyslvania mom, the police saw right through it. But after Susan Smith, I'm just still appalled that people would say a black man did it.

I think this woman's thought process- that people would believe "black men" did this crime - no questions asked shows that for most of middle class white America, racism is a practice in their daily lives.

Plus, if it is a practice in their daily lives, it is also a belief that they carry with them in other areas, such as who they do business with, who they hire, where they choose to live, how they educate their own kids etc. etc. etc.. (Yet we have black men running en masse to date white women- which is a whole other issue )

I think this type of action proves that we are NOT in a post racial society as the news media would have us believe, it also proves that black men are still seen as criminals who prey on white women, and makes the case for increased action by black people to start owning land, property, businesses, and creating healthy communities for ourselves.

Just my analysis of the whole situation.

Oh, and to answer the question, yes, I am tired of Black Men being falsely accused. Another good story about this was the overturning of the conviction of a Black man in Dallas for sexual assault based on DNA evidence.

To say that we are all "EQUAL" is such a cliche. We live among segregation and racism in a day to day basis. Someone once told me that "by being born black we already have a strike against us".Society has so many negative stereotypes set for African Americans it makes me sick.

When white society sees a single black mom the first thing they think is welfare, instead of educated black women handling her business. When they see a young balck man they think thug instead of aspiring lawyer or doctor. If a white guy gets shot its on the news for days, a black guy gets shot it may or may not appear on the news.

With that being said the last thing we need is for white women to be making false allegations against our black men. I totally agree with you.
