I had a miserable pregnancy (I gained 60lbs and it was summer, wheeew, lol) but this read helped me enjoy my pregnancy a little more! I met Kimberly a few weeks ago and she's cool, I totally support her vision to support mothers of all walks of life!!!! I realized that being a mother is hard; however, I didn't realize how much time is consumed by being a new mother! My pregnancy was a little stressful; but I am blessed to have a healthy baby girl. This is my first pregnancy and I must admit during my 4 or 5 month I enjoyed it, but now that there has been a shift from enjoying myself when I was eating pretty much whatever I liked, now that I found out I have gestational diabetes, my pregnancy has really been more scary then enjoyable, from taking the insulin shots, to pricking my finger, I know though in the end, it will be all worth it. 5 Weeks To Go Hopefully :); ▶ Reply to This

My husband and I have two children, and another on the way in September. Each time we found out we were expecting at that time we were never aware of a Black Pregnancy manual. I am a mother of two girls 14 and 3 years of age, and having a child after 10 years was truly a shock to me, a lot changed in those 10 years. I would definitley like to have another child (a boy) before im thirty, but im just a little unsure about it. Bringing a new baby in the home for me was truly a great experience because I didn't have my mom there to take over. I was 15 when I had my first child and she pretty much became the mother, with my 3 year old I felt like a mom for the first time I notice I do a lot of things different with my second child and I can tell I matured over the years.; ▶ Reply to This
