My daughter is 6 months old and i love her dearly, But as soon as she sees me or her father leave the room she screams bloody murder... Even if we turn our back like we are leaving the room. it is so bad that he will causes herself to choke. you can imagine how hard it is for us to find a babysitter. Does anyone has any suggestions on how to break her out of this?

I too am in the same zone, My daughter Gabby is 9months, she has never been with a sitter or to a daycare center, at 6months we took her to a familly reunion and I Never heard my baby cry sooooo much. She is getting better now with me leaving the room or house. You have to make sure that the baby has something very interesting to play (or watch, Mickey Mouse and Dora are winners) with something that would take her mind off of missing you. Do it a few minutes at a time until she gets comfortable I keep walking back and forth so that she can see me and then once she is comfortable I will run to the store, when I get back my Hubby says she did fine.
