How do you feel about Kanye West's outburst on stage during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech? Do you like President Obama's opinion of calling Kanye a "jackass" appropriate even though it was suppose to be off the record?

I was like Kanye when I was young, thinking my opinion mattered at all times. But I put childish ways behind me. Okay, most of the time.

And the President is a person with opinions. He's not spouting them off the way Kanye did; he's just having a normal conversation. That reporter should have felt blessed to be privy to Obama's personal opinions, to have seen the human side of his president. Chances are he won't again!

I think Kanye West's outburst was very disrespectful and he should get all the criticism being leveled against him right now because he has done this too many times. I do appreciate that he offered a sincere apology and I think he realized the error of his ways so people should move on past it now.

In terms of Pres. Obama, I think my issue with this is did he call Joe Wilson a jackass. After all, Kanye didn't interrupt him doing a speech and embarass him on national tv. Now with that said, I wish Pres. Obama would stop letting the media pull him into these types of issues. He is the president. Since when did the VMAs become important enough to ask the President his thoughts on them. I am certain neither Bill Clinton nor George Bush would have been asked about them. So while I agree with the president that Kanye acted inappropriately, I wished he would have responded I have more important things to discuss like healthcare, jobs, wars than to comment on the VMAs!

Im irritated by all of the media attention brought to the entire incident(s)...The one thing I love about Obama is that he is real...sorta like a friend or relative..how many people we know said the same doggone thing to each other about Kanye after the awards? But i felt sorry 4 Kanye finding out he's dissed by the president who Im sure he looks up to...

You can believe that reporter has lost any opportunity to ever interview the president again. I can't even believe that he would say he didn't know it was off the record. Please. I'm not buying it.

Ouch! When the President (privately) says you are a jackass, you need stop whatever it is you're doing and go sit down somewhere. LOL! Really, what Kanye did was ignorant and childish. Katy Perry said it best -- it was like he stepped on a kitten. He truly needs to get over himself and this bad habit he has of inviting himself on stage and interrupting the show. It's not cute or clever, it was just plain rude. At the end of the day, we are all human. We make mistakes and deserve forgiveness.
