How many of our moms are in school? What are you studying? How much longer do you have to go?

Would you be interested in a group on BMC for Moms in School?

Let me know. I would love to start a group for moms in school to support each other, answer questions, discuss our future plans, and to network and exchange tips on parenting and balancing education.

Oh yeah, I am a full time student. I study Sociology and Women's Studies, I have 2 more years.

Yeah I know MLT is just for right now I need something to start with. I was doing nursing but I don't think that I want to do that anymore. I have been having a hard time trying to figure out what I want to do.But MLT's don't get payed bad in GA. I can move up to MT($30) if I want to. I know people that make $16-20 just out of school because its any Associates so I could get my BA. Emory hospital starts out with $20.25 for MLT.

I just graduated in May '08 with an Associates in Radiology Technology. I am back in school to either complete my bachelors, or just change and go into nursing since the opportunities and income for nurses are so abundant right now. I would definitely join a group of working moms because it's very difficult pursuing your education while being a single mother, especially when it's a structured program where you take classes full time during the day and have lots of homework.

I'm ready to go back and finish my MBA in management. I had to drop out unfortunately because of my job situation, but I do intend to finish. Does that count? Hopefully I can start again in the fall.

For those of you in school, you might want to check this out if you have a student loan. Just be prepared, because these lenders are all crooked.

I am attending a community college majoring in Business right now. Afterwards, I have to transfer to a university to complete my bachelor's degree. The school I will be attending has a online B.S.B.A with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies. This is perfect for me since I really won't have the time to be in a classroom setting. To be honest, this degree is very generic, so I have to do a little research in order to find out what type of jobs I would be qualified for, since the best jobs in Business prefer a specialized degree, like a degree in Accounting or Finance. I know I will land a great career move. In the meantime, is there anyone who can offer me advice on what kind of career I can pursue with this degree? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. I would be interested in a group for Moms in School. I am a full-time student two classes shy of completing my MS in Criminal Justice (<-- doing my happy dance, lol). I have 2 children--a 3 year old boy and 18 month old girl. It has been a difficult road, but all the hard work will pay off in the end!!

I'm currently a student at Community College of Philadelphia(full time student). Im taking my pre-reqs so I can go to Drexels School of Medicine. My goal is to be a Peditrician. I have about eight more yaers before I have my Masters and Phd. I graguate from CCP in May of 2010.

That's great! My goal was first to become a Peditrician but my creative side got a hold of me and I decided to do Marketing; which I love!! GOOD LUCK!

Hi, I am full time student. I finally went back to school this past spring semester and hope to stick it out this time. I am going for my bachelors in nursing (every one pray for me), and still have a couple more years left. I should also point out that work fulltime hours on the weekend( 16 hrs sat. 16 hrs sun). I need all the support that I can get, so I believe that this would be a great group

Wow I missed this conversation, been busy with SCHOOL! LOL! So yeah, workin' on that doctorate degree in adult education. School ain't no joke when you are a single parent. Please, start the group!
