Hi Latonia!
My name is Sherrie and I homeschool my six children ages 18(senior year), 16(sophmore year), 15(freshman year), 11(sixth grade),9(fourth grade), & 8 (third grade). I am very glad to see that more families of color are choosing to homeschool. I find that both the children and the parents benefit from the homeschooling expirience. My children originally started in the public school system, but I was unhappy with the progress at the schools and the issue of my childrens safety was also a factor. At the time we were located in the Gary, IN area. I have been looking for a legitimate letter writing or a pen pal group for my children. We had ran up on roadblocks. I would love to hear more about this.
Thanks,
Sherrie

Hello everyone new to the club. I have been homeschooling for about 4 years now. I have a 9 year old ( 4th ), a 5 year old (1st ), a 3 year old ( pre-k ) and a 6 month old. My children go to agora and we love it. Have a good day.
