Hey Crafting Mamas,
For those who work full time and take care of family, what are some strategies you use to make time for your crafting hobby? I'm a single working mother. I must, must, must spend time on my craft (crocheting for now) or I feel I'm not getting a chance to un-wind. However, I get sooooo busy sometimes that it seems impossible. I'm curious to hear what others do to make sure they get some craft time in.

Well one thing I try to do is designate a day just for your craft. My daughter goes to bible study on Wednesday nights so that is one day that I do my sewing/cutting. I also try to do it on Monday's as well. If your child(ren) are school age, maybe they can do something with you are doing your craft? On Monday's when my daughter is home, I tell her to come in the sewing room with me and she takes that hour to read. It's time that I am spending with her and she is also doing something that helps her (reading).

I use to get up EARLY to craft or stay up late. I don't have an extra room just for myself so I think I'll have to give up the late night T.V. and start getting up early again!
