Too Much TV?

My daughter, Gabi will be 3 tomorrow and her personality is so amazing and funny it's ridiculous. Like most pre schoolers, she is addicted to the Noggin Channel, especially Oswald and Little Bill. Last night after we finally gave up trying to force her to go to bed, she looked at the clock and said, "Mama, It's 9 o'clock! Little Bill on!" Sure enough, it was 9:19 p.m. She crawled in her bed and said, "Awww man, that's Oswald", pouted and fell asleep.

That's cute! Thankfully we haven't gotten to the point she really quotes what's on tv. She says enough as it is!!! The only thing she really says is "Aw Man" exactly like Swiper on Dora the Explorer.

My son used to watch television with the caption on. He knew even when he was three that the words on the screen were the same ones they were saying. Needless to say, he excelled in all his reading.
Television can have its advantages.
