I am doing my dissertation on parenting stress and social support among African American mothers. I am inviting you to participate. This is an important study because there’s a lack of studies about our parenting issues and experiences.

To participate you must have a biological child between age of 5-9, married (first time) or single (not divorced or separated) and US Citizen. If husband/mate in the home, he must be biological father of at least one of your children.

My son was always the only black child at a couple of the (private) schools he attended, and I was concerned he would "lose his identity" but you know what? He still is a "brotha", now he is just a smart one! :) No worries!
