- I am a woman who wears several hats. First and foremost, I am a mother to a "darling" little girl who everyone (EXCEPT me)thinks is an "Angel", but I wouldn't trade her for anything. She is definitely MY baby...spoiled and all!! I'm the loving daughter to my daddy (yes, I said "Daddy" & YES, I am a "daddy's girl") and I have him just as spoiled as he has me!! I'm a big and little sister to 3 OTHER spoiled people! I am definitely a "family" person who loves my family with all of my heart...NO, I don't like them all the time but I LOVE them always. I'm a good friend who will listen and advise but only when asked..so if you don't want the TRUTH, don't ask me!!! I'm a woman who loves the LORD because he heard my cry and pitied my every groan and would change NOTHING for my walk with him!! I'm a dedicated member of my church,Glory of God COGIC, which is of God and in Christ. I'm most definitely COGIC!!!

Fasting has its roots in nearly every religious tradition from Christianity and Islam to Judaism and wisdom traditions of the East. The practice can be found in history as early as 7000 B.C. and most recently in modern houses of worship and even hospitals around the world.
