Why join the Black Moms Network?

I'm looking for additional help with how to live this thing called life. And to stumbel across a website that was for women of color, I wanted to be a part of. I live in a community that is predominately caucasion, which is a good thing however I need fellowship with people of a like mind.

I have 5 daughters.
17, 14, 13, 10, and she would be 9 now.

About Me:

I love color, glitz and glamor. Change, yet stability. I've been married for 22 years to a very responsible, dependable man, he's my friend until the end. Today I'm 42 years old, I've been dealt a card of illness that's very hard to get rid of, many times I'm depressed, sad, lonely, and most of all I' in chronic pain. This card has a name, it's called Fibromyalgia "fms/cfs, migraines, etc. etc. Many days I fell in adequate, not worthy of the great family that God has given me.
So about me;
I am a woman who fights daily to survive, I teach my daughters with care, pride and at intensity.
I am a daughter, who loves and respects her parents.
I am the youngest sister of 4, in whom I truly love and also have great respect for them.
lastly, I'm a woman trying to walk in a Godly way.
