Hey Joyce. I CANNOT wait for my hair to lock! :) I have noticed that have the locs with my new son is great. I wish I had did it a long time ago. I thought about it for 10 years before I finally decided to do the "big chop" and start over again with a natural hairstyle. And it is something else with the relationship my oldest son has with my youngest. The oldest can't what until the youngest can crawl and walk. I tell him all the time you say that now, but the second he starts wanting to crawl and walk over to your room every 2 seconds it is not going to be so much fun. I am curious to see how my youngest will act when my oldest goes iff to college. Did you notice a change in your girl's behavior when your oldest went off to college? Just curious...I don't know why I am worried about now, but for some reason I am. I know the age gap inbetween my kids will have positive and negative effects. Anyway talk to you later
Hi, my name is Olena and I am new to the Black Mom's Club. I thought I would stop by to say first that I love your dreds and am wondering how long you have been growing yours. I have had mine for 3 months now and can not wait until my hair actually locks. Also I noticed the ages of your children and thought we have a little in common there because I have a son who is 14 and son that is 3 months now. Anyway just thought I would say hi. Have a great day!
Hi, my name is Tracy and I am a member of the Black Mom’s Club. I am doing my dissertation on parenting stress and social support among African American mothers. I am inviting you to participate. This is an important study because there’s a lack of studies about our parenting issues and experiences.
To participate you must have a biological child between age of 5-9, married (first time) or single (not divorced or separated) and US Citizen. If husband/mate in the home, he must be biological father of at least one of your children.
Please take a few minutes and complete the ENTIRE survey. The entire survey has to be filled out not just page one in order for me to compare similarities and differences between single and married mothers.
For completing the ENTIRE survey, you can enter a drawing for a chance to win a $100 Target gift card.
Hello Joyce. I see that you are in Philly. Not to far from me, I'm in Trenton. I see that you sell jewelry. I'm in the process of starting my own business in selling jewelry. Maybe we could hook up and do some parties.
