How did you find the black moms club?
Ning
How many children do you have?
I have 4 children two girls, 14 and 10, and two boys, 3 and 22 months.
About Me:
I’m a 30 something, exhausted, determined, probably bi-polar, stay home wife and mother. I’m twice married with two girls, 14 and 10 from the first marriage and, two boys 22 months and 3 years from my current, and God please, last marriage! I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up so, I just keep trying different things and pray something works. In the mean time, I’m finishing up my degree in Business Management/Ecommerce.
I am addicted to Starbucks, in particular their Cafe Mochas and the Pike Place Roast has warmed its way into my heart. My husband and I have a dream of opening our own coffee house one day. We have some wild ideas and we’re dreaming big!
I love to write and I blog because of this. Not to mention, that it is quite cathartic and ultimately my goal is to make a living from it. I am currently a member of MomSelect and, MANY social networking sites. So, any PR companies that want to contact me, I am available! And that’s about as big of a HINT as I can give!

YOu are funny girl!!! Sorry it has taken me so long to respond back, I don't check my page often enough-LOL I ended up here because I was married before and I liked it here so I ended up coming back once me and my first husband split up. I miss home though and I often think of coming back and my desire has been even stronger since I had my daughter. You are right, Omaha is a great place to raise kids. THe schook system sucks here in Georgia. Maybe one day the LORD will lead me back home eventually. My current husband is from here, born and raised so all of his family is here. He doesn't want to move, but maybe one day he will change his mind. I am not so crazy about the A anymore. When I do get home, I attend church all the time, i still don't have a church home here. I have visited a few, but none that have drawn me in enough to want to become a member. My mom also attends a non-denominational church as well. I love it! Everytime, I come home, I go to it or my home church, New Hope Baptist church. I can't think of the name of that church right now, when I do I will let you know. The churches here are so BIG,I do not want to get lost in the congregation.-LOL Well, I guess I better run. WE will chat again soon!
Take care and have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Kenyatta!
Glad you hollered back!!! So you went to South? I graduated from Burke in 1986. I miss home so much and my friends and family. I have been living in Georgia since 1998 and I try to get to Omaha as often as I can. I really feel melacholy at holiday time. Believe it or not, I miss the snow! It makes it really seem like a white Christmas! How are you? Your family? I hope all is well nevertheless. Holler back when you get a chance. What church do you go to? When I do come home I visit my home church, Greater New Hope Baptist Church, and I also visit the church that my mother goes to which is the non-denominational church, Eagles Nest. I really like it. THey make you feel so welcome.

Hi Kenyatta!
OMG! I can't believe it, someone else from Omaha! I am from Omaha Nebraska as well. Born and raised. I have been living in Georgia now for the past 10 years. I miss home a lot, but a lot has changed. I love to come home now more than ever, especially since I had my daughter. It really makes me appreciate being froma smaller city. Atlanta is so over populated it doesn't make sense and we won't discuss the traffic problems here!
I wanted to say hello and hope that we can continue to chat! What High School did you go to? Maybe we know some of the same people, after all its a small world and Omaha is even smaller LOL
Look forward to chatting with you soon!
