Married for 3 years. Plus, we just added a new addition to our family - a Jack Russell named Russy!!! He has the cutest beard, but my oldest son has him spoiled rotten already.
I'm really excited about what God is doing in my life. Together with my partners (also my cousins), we have stepped out on FAITH and started our very own home party business which I'm so very proud of - The Chocolate Box. We offer a collection of urban inspired gifts and accessories made for us by us which includes African American themed address books, bibletotes, journals, baby & bridal shower invitations, children's party supplies, and much more!
Please check it out when you have a minute as I would really appreciate the feedback. Our mission is to support us black moms and have fun doing it.

FastGirls is collective of women who have chosen to practice the sacred and beneficial art of fasting in an effort to heal their body, mind and spirit.
Fasting has its roots in nearly every religious tradition from Christianity and Islam to Judaism and wisdom traditions of the East. The practice can be found in history as early as 7000 B.C. and most recently in modern houses of worship and even hospitals around the world.
Fasting is an experiential process that teaches us how to be with the difficult. Fasting is difficult to start and difficult to continue. But its regular practice allows us stand in the face of inevitable challenges and experience our own ability to overcome.
If you would like to share in a community of women abstaining for the health of their mind, body and spirit, join us.
