Why join the Black Moms Network?: I am looking for opportunities to learn from other Af. Am parents in understanding how to successfully manage parenthood, as well as share laughs and good stories.

About Me:: I'm a dedicated wife and mother to a 3yr old and soon to be newborn. I live in Las Vegas, NV although I am originally from Michigan. Been married for 4 years now and I met my husband in the Peace Corps

I used to work oustide the home but took on myself to leave my job and find a job working from home. It has taken my a while but I believe I have finally done it. The funny thing is that I just started three months ago and now making almost as much as I did working from home and bringing more income!!! I would love to get together with others. Maybe we need to make that happen pretty soon. Let me know what your thoughts are and where you would like to meet. For some odd reason us folks don't talk to each other in this town...and no one knows anything about what is going on in our community....I would love to change that.

I think it would be a great idea. Never been to the springs preserve but always wanted to go. I think that the kids would love that!!!

I was thinking that everyone could go to sunset park over there on eastern, talk with each other for 20 min and introduce themselves and them head on out and walk around sunset park (do 1 or two miles to get some exercise). No worries. I think that we could do it maybe around the first or so of Feb. I think that something that is very informal will do just great. Just let me know if you can come and some suggestions on what we can do there. I think that we can just introduce ourselves and then go out for a walk around the park and then go home. Do maybe 2 or 3 miles if everyone is up to it? Let me know your thoughts.
