If you change your mind...everything else will follow!

You can't make this man be a father to your son, regardless of what you do. If you don't need the money don't waste your time with child support. Thank God, you don't need him financially and move on. Maybe he isn't meant to be a father and it would…

You are a smart woman. We can't get mad at the man because we change our mind. The fact that he is there means that he wants to be there. Sometimes we just need to be still...because if you want the ring...put it out there once and continue to do wh…

We have the power to change but it doesn't start with our government. It starts with each one of us. We are reminded everyday that our country is in a state of renewal. We should also be in a state of renewal. We have the opportunity to create the lives we desire. We should be working on our own personal bailout. Are you creating your own bailout? I would love to hear your stories, please email me. Tell me about your bailout plan!

Social Networking Etiquette

I started a squidoo lens on Social Networking Etiquette because more people are looking at the internet to start a business, expand a business or promote a business. This excites me because I believe that the way for America to heal herself is through business ownership. Business Ownership is the new American Dream and it is being realized on the World Wide Web. That is why Social Networking Etiquette is so important. Please check out… Continue

Are Black Women Teaching Their Daughters to Be Mean?

My 4 year old son is attending school for the first time. His school is very diverse and apparently four year olds are very touchy feely little people. They just like to hug. Well, my baby is quite popular with the girls.

We recently went to the Pumpkin Patch and one particular little girl was all over my baby. They were holding hands and hugging. She followed him everywhere he went. On the hay ride there was another little girl that was really upset and very vocal about it. He had not played w… Continue

Please Stop the Spamming

I am writing this with great reservation in that I don’t mean to offend anyone.

But this needs to be said.

Black Moms Club in a wonderful networking site for black moms and caregivers. It is a site that is very much needed in our society and when used properly everyone will benefit.

Okay, so what is my problem?

My problem is spam which is the equivalent to junk mail. Small business owners who come to the site to find customers, team members, or people to join their networking site. They offe… Continue

Wow! I just got off a company call where I heard the most amazing story!

A brand new distributor won $3000 her first month in the company.

Well, let me back up a little.
This is only the second month since our company implemented this contest.

Everyone starts with a clean slate every month and the three distributors who have accumulated the most points win the prize money.

They had jokingly said that even a brand new distributor could win this contest.
Well, in 2 months, 2 brand new distribu… Continue

"Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile" NOT!!!

“Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile”
I won’t say the author’s name because she is a private citizen and the quote was on the bottom of one of those emails forwarded to everyone they know and on and on.

This quote is really disturbing to me. It has actually been a few days since I first read it but it bothers me. In my opinion, a life lived for others is a wasted life.
This is just my opinion and for all you people who are living their lives for others, I’m sorry!
I’m sorry for th… Continue

Hey KimSyne, thank you so much for those words of encouragement you left on my page. They really meant a lot to me. I have always been an entrepreneur even when I was working for others. But my need to be free so that I could handle my number one priority, my children, gave me the strength to move into the unknown, on my own.

I am currently a teacher with LRSD. I taught in Dallas for 10 years before moving to Arkansas. I am not too impressed with the district. My goal is to establish an online store and work from home full time in 10 years. I would love to talk off line.
