- I joined Black Moms Network because I know it's important to develop a place where moms can share, vent and support. I belong to another network called the Mommy Network for the city and state where I reside and I have been able to learn about events, happenings, opportunities, dog trainers etc. It's great.

- I have two children that I birthed and who live home with me and my hubby and two stepchildren.

- Blessed and favored. I am a wife to a beautiful human being, AKA husband, a mommy to a 7 year old son and a 4 year old daughter, an owner of a protective German Shepherd, and a work from home mom.
As a career, I am a mortgage loan officer and despite what the market states, folks still want to purchase their first home or another home or refinance. I can do some states, so email me if you need me to do your mortgage loan/refinance. FHA is also available.

Sharlene said… - I will keep you in mind when it comes to the healthcare offerings Moni. I have a friend who is currently in the mortgage, real estate and loan industry, so yes I do know that the market is a bit tough right now, but it is a buyers market for right now so focus on them.
Your husband might want to try contracting out to your neighboring states, cities or towns to see if he can get alternate work their or partner with an agency that contracts out landscapers to see if he can locate additional work that way as well while your community is currently experiencing the drought. Hope it all works out!
