Hi, my name is Tracy and I am a member of the Black Mom’s Club. I am doing my dissertation on parenting stress and social support among African American mothers. I am inviting you to participate. This is an important study because there’s a lack of studies about our parenting issues and experiences.

To participate you must have a biological child between age of 5-9, married (first time) or single (not divorced or separated) and US Citizen. If husband/mate in the home, he must be biological father of at least one of your children.

Please take a few minutes and complete the entire survey. For completing the survey, you can enter a drawing for a chance to win a $100 Target gift card.

Thanks for your help and support.

Hello, I just wanted to share this info with you about the amazing Wednesday night TAG TEAM Movement Socials.

TAG TEAM SUCCESS STORIES OF THE DAY Monday, June 16, 2008
My experience at the TAG TEAM Movement Black Business Social was very motivational. It will push me to help my people as well as me. Thank you for such a wonderful group. I will be back with masses of Black people. C. Rochon

TAG TEAM SUCCESS STORIES OF THE DAY Monday, June 9, 2008 I came out thinking that I was just going to give out business cards but it was more than that. I was motivated to get up and get going with my business. I am going to continue coming and selling my products. The people are amazing. They welcome you with open arms and they are ready to support you and your business. I can’t wait to get working and get rich. Thank you very much. L.Griffiths

TAG TEAM SUCCESS STORIES OF THE DAY Saturday, June 7, 2008 The event tonight was awesome, very insightful into the Black business world. It has given me some ideas of the businesses I would like to start. All I think I would need is the drive and a plan of action, and I think this is where I will be able to get that. M. Johnson

TAG TEAM's Wednesday Night Events In Atlanta Are Becoming A SENSATION

On Wednesday Night's in Atlanta, TAG TEAM Marketing hosts a TAG TEAM Movement Social event from 7pm to 10pm. These events are quickly becoming a sensation in the city of Atlanta. Each week, attendance is growing and growing, and more and more people are participating in the 'game' of the TAG TEAM Movement.
The way it works is simple:
1. If you own a business, then you join the Black Business Network, set up a vending table and sell your products and services at the event.
2. If you don't own a business, then you join the TAG TEAM Business Opportunity (for free) and bring other positive, Black people to the event. You earn commissions $$$ on anything they buy at the event.
3. Everyone buys from the vendors at the event.
Last Wednesday night, tons of people attended, over 70 products were sold and thousands of dollars in sales and commissions were generated. Every dollar went to Black people. This week will be even bigger.
Get into the game! Come out this Wednesday night from 7pm to 10pm. Get your positive, Black friends to attend the TAG TEAM Movement social event with you. Bring money so you can purchase great products and services from the vendors. Earn $$$ from the purchases your friends make. Together, we can 'recycle Black dollars', empower Black-owned businesses and create a new economic reality for Black people.

Become a FastGirl!

FastGirls is collective of women who have chosen to practice the sacred and beneficial art of fasting in an effort to heal their body, mind and spirit.

Fasting has its roots in nearly every religious tradition from Christianity and Islam to Judaism and wisdom traditions of the East. The practice can be found in history as early as 7000 B.C. and most recently in modern houses of worship and even hospitals around the world.

Fasting is an experiential process that teaches us how to be with the difficult. Fasting is difficult to start and difficult to continue. But its regular practice allows us stand in the face of inevitable challenges and experience our own ability to overcome.

If you would like to share in a community of women abstaining for the health of their mind, body and spirit, join us.
