Life Long Decisions

I thought I fully understood the decisions I would make regarding my children would have life long ramifications. Thought would be the key word! My eldest daughter was born one day late for the cut off date to start kindergarten in September. (If only the doctor had induced earlier!) Texas law states a child must be five years of age on or before September 1st in order to enroll in school. Should I wait one entire year because she was born on the 2nd?
