- I am a black mom with three young children. I am young myself. I am 20 year old single mom. I am also looking for something to do with my kids, get information so that I can raise my children and to expand my world.

Ladies,
I don't like to get to know people without them knowing what type of person I am. I am 20 years old (will be 21 on June 6). I live at home with mom and stepdad with two younger brothers. I have one biological child and raising two of my biological father's kids with the help of my immediate family. I am desperate to live on my own. I want to be independent but I have no way of doing so. I am taking a break from college and I am now a certified home health aide. The job is hard to do but it is the field that I want to work in. I grew up wanting to be a nurse and now I want to be a doctor (but in college to be a nurse). I joined the black moms club because I want to hear other people's opinions other than my mother's. All my friends are not in the same stage of life as I am. That's fine. I don't dwell on the bad but I am only worried about my future and my kids future. So, If there is anyone out there who could offer an opinion, that's cool. If not, I sure you all will think of something. LOL!
