At 4:06pm on August 8, 2008, mrsdana757 said…: Normally it takes 12 hours to get there From Va.But with a 2 year old traveling it was hectic.The Delta hotel was ok,but they charged for every little thing.Parking in Toronto is crazy,so 29.00 dollars plus tax while at the hotel.I didn't go to Caribana because it started to rain and so I watched a little bit on tv at the hotel.Everything was close ,so I went walking to Toronto Eaton Centre to do a little shopping and browsing.Whew,everything was pricey.The crowds were everywhere during especially during Caribana.The police were stationed at the hotel we stayed in to make sure no one who wasn't wearing a orange band,wouldn't get in the hotel.I had to cut the trip short because my dog got sick while en route to Toronto.So we stayed for 5 nights instead of 10.My dog bill was 602.00.Didn't spend a whole lot after that dog bill.So enough of me whining.How was your trip to Caribana?

My mom doesn't live in NY so I do a lot of stuff by myself. I am looking forward to her being here next week. I may be able to get a lot of stuff done while she is here. This is her first granddaughter and I am her only daughter. You know that is a powerful mix right there. Can you recommend some books you read that was very useful to you. I really appreciate it.
